Durante il primo lockdown, tra marzo e giugno 2020, ho girato la macchina fotografica verso di me. Mai avrei pensato di farlo. Io sono sempre stata quella che faceva le foto, non quella che era fotografata. Ne sono nate queste doppie esposizioni (o meglio sovrapposizioni) che tengono insieme il desiderio di essere ancora bella di una donna di cinquant’anni e le mie tanto amate stazioni di servizio.
During the first lockdown, between march and june 2020, I decided to turn the camera towards me. I have never thought I would have done it. I always have been the girl with the camera, the one who took the pics and not the object of a photography. So these double exposition (or better say overlap) were born trying to keep together the desire of being awesome of a woman in her fifties and my beloved gasoline stations.
